Maribel Bailey

Maribel Resquer Bailey moved to the United States at an early age and grew up in the small town of San Juan Bautista, CA. She later attended Gavilan College and San Jose State University.

Maribel has over 30 years of medical experience overall, with about 24 of those years spent working at Stanford Health Care before she joined Meadowood Medical. Maribel got her start in pediatrics at South Valley Hospital in Gilroy for several years, after which she worked with a family medicine physician and surgeon in Hollister. At that time, Maribel also worked as an on-call EKG/Lab Technician with APPS (American Para-Professional System).

At Stanford Health Care, Maribel worked in the Departments of Primary care, Obstetrics and Family Medicine for ten years, serving as a Practice Coordinator for several doctors. She was also responsible for training all new nurses in those Departments. Due to her fabulous leadership and teaching skills, the OB-Family Practice and Internal medicine doctors promoted Maribel into a new role to mentor all Medical Assistant candidates during their required 160 hours of clinical rotations. She helped hire and train new Certified Medical Assistants as well. Maribel continued her clinical experience working in Stanford Occupational Health Services as the Physicians Credentialing Assistant to the Infection Control Nurse. While in Occupational Health, she worked independently to help all Stanford employees with physician work clearance, volunteer clearance, walk-in injuries, and new employee physicals.

In addition to spending time with her family, Maribel enjoys doing Zumba and is a certified Zumba instructor.
